Free Read! Regency Historical, Moonlight.

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

Am still recovering from a cold, but after sleeping most of the day, I’m feeling a bit better.

The news today is that I have posted my Regency Historical short story, Moonlight on my website along with the wonderful artwork I commissioned from Seamas Gallagher. You can read the entire story at the link above, or you can download a pdf without the artwork.

The story (but not the artwork) is licensed under a creative commons license, non-commercial, no derivatives. This means you are free to download it, copy it to any devices you like and give it away to friends, family or even strangers. You can even post it at your own website. If you repost, make sure you credit me as the author and provide a link back to my website. You can’t sell or re-sell the story and you can’t modify it. Easy!

Let me know if you have any trouble with the page or the file or what have you. I hope you enjoy reading it!

Saturday News and Information

Saturday, June 12th, 2010

Ah. It’s Saturday. A day when I do not have to go to work tomorrow.

My copy edits for My Immortal Assassin are done and ready to be returned. I’ve seen the proposed cover and it’s awesome.

The artwork I commissioned for the digital version of my story Moonlight, which will appear in the Mammoth Book of Regency Romance, is final. Blog readers, here it is, scaled down to 25% and converted to jpeg. The original is even more awesome.

The artist is Seamus Gallagher and I think I might love him more than Alexander Skarsgard even though I’ve only seen his artwork.
